I'm sure that some of you who've actually stumbled into this practically traffic-less blog are wondering what I've actually written. Well, to be honest with all of you, I've only had one short story published, and that was my short story entitled "Epidemic" that can be found in the Original Fiction Section at
All Things Zombie. It's a zombie horror story that I wrote, so any hardcore fantasy fans might not enjoy it. For those of you that like horror, or will read anything, take a shot at it and email me at
mrdude175@yahoo.com, my email address, with any comments.
Anyway, I just finished another zombie horror story called "Exposure" that runs about ten times larger in length than "Epidemic". I'm currently doing a third run-through of it, making sure it shines. After that, I plan on submitting it to
The Undead, a zombie anthology that's having an open-call for zombie fiction from published and unpublished authors.
Also, I plan on submitting more horror fiction to about four other anthologies, all of their deadlines being around the end of the year, so I have to start getting on the writing. Additionally, to anyone who's pre-ordered
Lords of Swords, an epic fantasy anthology, might be interested that I'm working on a submission to submit to the publisher's newest open-call anthology,
Razor-Edged Arcanum.
And yes, there is something else. I am also planning on entering a contest called
NanoWrimo, a contest in which anyone who participates will, starting from November 1st and ending November 30th, write a novel, the length being around 50k words and approximately 175 pages. Any participants that accomplish this goal will win money (I forgot how much--that just goes to show how much is on my plate right now).
Anyway, that's about all. Goodbye for now, viewers.
